Whenever I am uploading a picture from my computer onto an internet site, the pictures are always displayed as thumbnails. I can switch it to display the files as a list, but I have to change the display option each time I open a download window, and I'm sick of it. I want the default setting for my upload menu to be on "list", not "thumbnail," but I don’t know how to execute this change.

I have a PC, and my operating system is Windows XP.

Thank you.

open My Pictures. go to the menu at the top and click on Tools>Folder Options>View tab. Is the box 'Remember each folder view' checked or unchecked?

If it is checked you may have run out the limit of allowable folders-to-remember settings. Prior to SP2 the default was 400, after SP2 it's 5000.

Good luck!

Just Right click on the blank part when you are in the My pictures folder and select view and click the required option that should do it.

Mr dear, I read your request. To me, it is only appropriate for you to use the magic word, "please". There is no please in any of your sentence. Remember, you are asking for help.
