I recently gave my son to the state. He was too bad and adoption was the only answer. Can i put this on my tax return? how much and I looking to get back for this?

sorry, you can't for 2006, unless you can claim you paid more than 50% of his living expenses this year and he stayed with you over 50% of the time...you could claim him for 2005 if he lived with you through the end of the year

First you need to learn to spell!! It is "write" not "right"
Anyone that gives their kid away does not deserve any taxes let alone a write off. Get yourself some professional help and maybe, just maybe you can help your child. No wonder this is such a messed up world for kids now days. People like you make it that way.

Zero! You don't get a tax break for turning a child over to the state. Fact is, you lose one.
