i need help i'm 11 years old and today was my first day of school and my eyes were swollen and pink really bad my mom called the doctor and they can't get me in till tomorrow afternoom does anybody no what can cure or temporary stop the itching

after using artificial tears (eye drops) which you can get at the supermarket or pharmacy, try some cool compresses on your eyes... use large cotton balls or something very soft ....some forms of pink eye can be very contagious so be sure not to rub your eyes and make sure you wash your hands ...you need antibiotic eye drops.... don't miss that doctor's appointment tomorrow... hope you feel better :-)

Some eye drops will soothe the eyes. If u dont have any, try a warm teabag, keep your eyes closed and put the teabags on them. Leave them on for 10 minutes.

You can buy some eyedrops at a pharmacy which are antibiotic and some have an added itch reducer.

They have that stuff at the drug store it's an antibiotic like vasaline.
it makes your vision blurry but usually takes away my itchy scratchy eyes overnight.
i think it's called Stye

try damp tea bags on the eyes while he /she is laying down it is soothing
