Is the morning after pill (plan B) officially available over the counter? Has anyone bought it yet if it is? How much is it?

to tina b- no it is NOT an abortiona pill. but the pill is meant to be taken within 72 hours If in those 72 you have conceived, and then you take the pill it CAN abort the fetus. This was an issue that came up in the pharmacy that I worked in quite a lot.

It is available. But when I went my partner had to be there. It was bought at Rite-aid. And I paid about 50 bucks. I later learned that if you go to a clinic they give it to you cheaper. I live in CA. so I had to sign up for this family plan. I get free bc. Try a clinic. Rite-aid took awhile and people were staring. They make u sign forms. If you die its not on them kindda thing.

It's available over the counter in most civilized western countries.
In the USA it was just approved today for non-prescription sales in pharmacies - for women at least 18 years old only, and then only by request to the pharmacist, thus continuing the USAs
continuing sexual hypocrisy and deceit (how many teenage girls will simply have an 18 or older girl friend not intimidated by having to ask for it buy for them?) and growing control by the right wing religious and moralistic loonies.

According to the news the price ranges $25-40 for a 2 pack of pills. Cheaper to abstain from sex. With the cost of gas prices these days who can really afford to spend that much money on 2 pills every time they have unprotected sex.

I believe certain pharmacies will carry it. It's about $40. Try planned parenthood. Plan B prevents conception, it is not an abortion pill. Good luck

Yes, it is available, but if you are under 18 you still need a prescription. It is available at any pharmacy. Price, I have no idea, sorry. Good Luck!!!

Not sure how much it is but yes, it was approved for over the counter. You do need to show id to prove you are over 18.

Yes. Plan B. No one thinks to take a pill prior, or tell that dumb bf to wear a condom.
