Yes I agree totally, for trust is the basis of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore who is more trust-worthy man or God? God has said He can not lie, and there is no falsehood in the One True God, else he is not God. Man though he or she may be trustful, and trustworty will at some point fail you, due to the weakness of human nature and because of sin, The trust one must have in the LORD is total and complete - one cannot half way trust or partially trust for that is not trust but a falsehood.

Rhetorical question at best; pre-supposed statement at worst.

One can trust any deity except the tricksters but you are still going to have to deal with humans for the rest of your life. Not having confidence in a given person means you are likely to be suspicious of them. You are going to be watchful and distrustful. This will be noticed and many people will resent that type of attitude, especially those who are honestly trying to be friendly and helpful. They will avoid you. And there'll you'll be, trusting the Lord and wondering where everybody is.

Yes!, and it is something that I've just learned. God is so important and he loves us so much!!! It is not about pleasing people (God did say that we should love all people) but he said that we should do his will and not put anyone above him and it is so true, because people will fail us, not necessarily on purpose, but we do live in a fallen world so we need the Lord every step of the way. He will protect us, love us and guide us. He is amazing!

BTW, I still love all people I just put my trust in God and let him lead the way. Be Blessed!

Yes I find placing my trust in my left shoe works just as well. Although, unlike the lord, I can see it.

Why should I put my trust in a dead-beat Lord? He abandonded us, I hope he never returns. All he left us with is faith and hope and fear. Faith that he really does love us. Hope that he will return. Fear that when he returns he doesn't punish us for growing up wrong.

Then let's make sure that we get rid of the man-made images of Jesus and God that have made it into the bible and try to discover the real message of Jesus before it was changed by man.

You're so right! Humanity has only given us democracy, technology, literature, art, and a post stone age standard of living. But religion has given us stonings, crusades, discrimination, terrorism, suicide bombers, and countless deaths.
Sooooo much better.

Since you (a man) are telling me that, I guess that means I shouldn't trust you.

Yes, I agree...though in a Non-Divine capacity...many "forebidden fruits" have been eaten in the meantime.
