First of all, make sure that you sprinkle some meat tenderizer (this comes seasoned or non-seasoned). McCormick makes some really good "GrillMates" seasonings, I especially recommend the "Kansas City" Steak seasoning, but don't overdo it. Pound the steak down with a tenderizer if you have one, and if you don't, beat on it with something that's easy to clean afterward. Then throw them on the grill for about 20 minutes (depending on your preference (well done, medium etc.) That's the absolute best way to get good flavor in your steak. If you don't have a grill, try using the broiler pan in the regular oven and use high heat for a short time(450+).

For a side, I'd go with mashed redskin potatoes. These are easy because you leave the skins right on. Mash gently with butter, garlic, milk and a little sour cream.

Steaks are best with red wines. If you want to have a sweet dessert wine, go with a cherry (Michigan cherry wines are the best), these are very afordable and great with everything! If you prefer a more dry wine then I'd suggest a cabernet sauvignon, but if you go this route you should pick one that is at least $11.00 a bottle...if you skimp on dry wines, you will regret it.

Good luck! Just writing this makes me hungry

First sear the steaks by cooking them in a pan with hot oil on each side for 1 minute omly. That sears the juices in the steak.
The rest is just cooking time and seasonings to add if desired. Best way is to charcoal grill them. 2 min per side for rare, 4 for med 6-8 for well done is average cooking time.

Sprinkle with a generous amount of garlic salt and freshly ground pepper.
Preheat your grill on high flame.
Put the steaks on hot grill, and turn flame down to low heat, and close grill.
If you're steaks are thicker, about 1/2 to 1 inch...
Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side for rare,
5 minutes per side for med-rare,
5 1/2 minutes per side for medium (warm pink center)
If you want well done steaks, just cook the crap out of them, but they're gonna be dry.
You can press the steak with your finger and test the doneness. If it springs back somewhat, it's less done or medium. If it's hard, it's gonna be well done.

The best way to season it is with Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper...that's it, really.

Get your grill very hot. Then brush the grill hard with a brass bar-b-que brush until smooth. This will keep the steak from sticking. Throw the steak on for 3 minutes per side, watch for flareups. Then one minute per side to crisscross the grill marks. This will get you an excellent medium rare steak!
