I am sure there are good books and tapes to use. But, another way to learn Italian is to watch Itaian soap operas. Also, did you consider studying languages in college? Go to Italy to study, or live in Italy for awhile, that would be best.

maximum Italians communicate some English, so which you mustn't have complication. yet bear in ideas, the Italians are the "rednecks of Europe" (and that i recommend that properly!) and various communicate English poorly. Or under no circumstances. yet once you communicate the language, or a minimum of somewhat of it, the Italians will admire you lots extra on your attempt. in case you have ever discovered Spanish, they are very comparable languages. do no longer challenge, you will do advantageous! savour your stay in Roma! attempt to circulate to Firenzia in case you have time!
