LDS Missionaries are endowed in the temple before they go out into the field. Their undergarments, as well as any LDS church member who has received their temple endowments wear the sacred garments. Mormon missionaries wear special underwear that symbolizes for them covenants they have made to God. It is a reminder to them, much like wearing a cross around your neck is a reminder to Catholics to think of Jesus and remember to obey the commandments. All Mormon missionaries make these covenants with God before they serve a mission, so yes they all wear the same type of undergarments.

I'm not one either, but I do know that all Mormons must wear a "garment" that goes down the arms to the elbows, and down the legs to the knees. It's part of the religion, but I'm not sure what the purpose is.

I am not Mormon but I do know that there is a special type of underwear which some Mormons have to wear. I do not know why.

It seems to be the only color it comes in and for good reason: White symbolizes purity. Also, the underwear is not just any regular underwear it's holy undergarments imbued with some type of power.

Not white underwear..their called "Temple Garments"..and their basicially like a unionsuit..with shorter arms and legs...and it is to clothe the body for God..they only take em off to change or bathe..
