They go nuts over the horrors of abortion,
yet when you ask if an abortionist_- THe very person who is doing the killing of sometimes tens of thousands of fetus', --Is going to hell they say "well, if he's really sorry and excepts Christ as his savior, you know, all sin is the same in the eyes of the Lord",
Well, then what was the fuss you were making over Partial Birth Abortion!!!!!! Funny, I think there is something special about the brutality of that act compared with stealing or even cheating on your wife.
-- yet it would sound like Christians don't want real offenders who really would deserve it punished in an eternal firey pit , only people who don't believe in God? --What?

furthermore, going a bit deeper, does it make any sense that ANYONE wouldn't accept Jesus in the end once he was proven to exist? Dah!

All sin is the same in the sense that it is all wrong...however, the worse the sin, the less likely someone will repent....true repentance is not some cheap , easy action......and the bigger the sin the more intense the repentence should be...if not.....they are not really sorry...and there is no forgiveness.

and yes, abortion is a much worse offense than someone saying a cuss word.....and the punishment for that is worse too. there are stil consequences to sin, even when we repent...

I'll try to answer this in the clearest way possible.

A sin is a sin. God has made so many laws it is impossible for any human to live up to them. This is why we needed a Savior. God could have chosen to let us all burn in hell but he loved us so much that he decided to send his only Son down to earth, the only human who walked the earth with NO sin, to die in our place. Without getting too far into this discussion, I'll move on with this basis to answer your questions.

Because every human sins, whether it's saying the Lord's name in vain or aborting a baby, every human needs a Savior in order to get into heaven. Yes, some sins are more extreme than others but it doesn't matter the sin, no matter what you do, you need a Savior. At this point, God gives us free will to choose whether we want Him or not. I know it seems crazy to some people but by repenting of your sin, being TRUELY sorry in your heart, and accepting Christ as your Savior, you will be forgiven and saved. God knows what is in your heart. Anyone can say he/she is sorry but only God knows if it's true no matter if you killed someone in your past or something to that extent. The guilt you feel for knowing what you did in the past is enough of a punishment. At this point, the Holy Spirit enters you and becomes a very strong conscience. Christians still sin because it's impossible not to, but the want to do what's right is overwhelming.

Being a Christian, I know what an awesome feeling it is to have God in my life. I would be happy for even the worst of people if they could find God. That's just how we are. Unfortunately, sometimes I feel Christians go about spending the Word in a wrong way, a way that makes people defensive and scared. I understand it's hard for people to understand but I have to tell you, if you take the time to really consider it, He'll help you understand. I would never change my decision for anything no matter how ridiculed I may get. Knowing that all is in His Hands and I will spend enternity in a happy place is enough for me. Eternity is a heck of a lot longer than the time we get here on earth.

For your last question, God is a just God. Once He's proven to exist, as you say, every human's fate will be sealed and unfortunately, for those who resisted until that point, they will not get another chance. There are many complexities in the prophesies about what will exactly occur at the "end of the world" but I guarantee God will know exactly what He's doing.

Sorry for such a long winded answer. I hope it helped, though.

It is always difficult and dangerous to attempt to list sins according to their degree of seriousness. In one sense, all sins are equal in that they all separate us from God. The Bible's statement, "For the wages of sin is death ..." (Romans 6:23), applies to all sin, whether of thought, word, or deed.

At the same time, it seems obvious that some sins are worse than others in both motivation and effects and should be judged accordingly. Stealing a loaf of bread is vastly different than exterminating a million people. Sins may also differ at their root. Theologians have sought for centuries to determine what the essence of sin is. Some have chosen sensuality, others selfishness, and still others pride or unbelief. In the Old Testament, God applied different penalties to different sins, suggesting variations in the seriousness of some sins. A thief paid restitution; an occult practitioner was cut off from Israel; one who committed adultery or a homosexual act or cursed his parents was put to death (see Exodus, chapter 22 and Leviticus, chapter 20).

In the New Testament Jesus said it would be more bearable on the day of judgment for Sodom than for Capernaum because of Capernaum's unbelief and refusal to repent at His miracles (Matthew 11:23-24). The sins of Sodom were identified in Ezekiel 16:21 as arrogance, gluttony, indifference to the poor and needy, haughtiness, and "detestable things." When Jesus spoke of his second coming and judgment, he warned that among those deserving punishment some would "be beaten with many blows" and others "with few blows" (Luke 12:47-48). He also reserved His most fierce denunciations for the pride and unbelief of the religious leaders, not the sexually immoral (Matthew 23:13-36).

However, remember that whether our sins be relatively small or great, they will place us in hell apart from God's grace. The good news is that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and the sins of the whole world at the Cross. If we will repent and turn to Jesus in faith, our sins will be forgiven, and we will receive the gift of eternal life.

Human beings are the ones who have assigned degrees to each sin. Most people these days do not consider lying much of a sin. However, they consider murder to be on the opposite end of the spectrum.

To God it is a sin. It does not matter whether it is a lie or a murder, it is sin. You'll go to hell for it. Any sin will condemn you to hell. That is until Christ came to earth and died for your sins. Now that Christ has come and paid your debt, you just have to repent and accept (this is more than just words) him.

In the end, I hope everyone has a chance to accept Jesus. I pray that God reveils their sin to them and softens all their hearts so they do not procrastinate too long.. Once you die that opportunity is gone.

By the book all sin -is- equal in God's eyes. I think it's just that any sin is too much for your soul to bear in God's eyes, lessor or greater you can't enter Heaven with any sin. The Church created a hierarchy of sins and I'm not sure where they were going with that as any sin is one sin too many and they're all forgiven just as easilly as the other. But there you are. As well the Church is in charge of the faithful kind of the same way as the maintinence guy is in charge of my office building so it's not as thought they have much say in which sins are the bad ones..

There are no fetuses headed for hell. Sorry to tell you, but the Lord is holding them right now. You can rant and rave all day and never justify abortion. You should go and let them bleed a little of the air out of your head. Sin is sin in the eyes of God. There is no great sin, small sin, or in between. Like lies, there is no little white lie, black lie or any other color. They are all lies. Which, by the way, you seem to thrive on. If this is judging Lord, Forgive me.

All sin is the same to God. There are no degrees to Him.
And if someone genuinely repents and is sorry, why wouldn't anyone want them forgiven- I was forgiven for all I did, and while it might not have been the "big" sins- they were sins.
And it just does not work that way at the end of someones life and they come face to face with the Lord. You have to make the choice to accept Him now, because you could die in an instant and not have the time to repent.

God is not ignorant. People are. God is far more intelligent than
we could ever imagine.....Yes, a sin is a sin, period. But I agree
that there ARE degrees of sin. Not all sin is the same. God is
in charge of judgement. And it is He who we will have to answer
to someday. Why is there penalties on this earth for various
crimes ?? Don't u think that in Heaven God doesn't judge us the
same, as if we're clones. The punishment will fit the crime.

If a woman that had three children had to have an abortion to save her own life, which is also the life of a mother and wife. She would be frowned upon by the church.

If a woman had to prevent pregnancy by means other than the rythmn method because she had health problems because of birthing two other children. She would be frowned upon by the church.

What kind of fairytale world do those people live in?

Read Romans 1 - 3
vs 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips
down to 32
and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

2:2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things

vs 5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.

vs. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

3:22 even the righteousness of God though faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe, for there is no distinction.

Being justified as a gift by His Grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.

So we have Jesus as the propitiation for our sins. Mercy, Grace.
This means we deserved death for our sins, but Jesus died for us.
