Dear JudasPriest: Ah. . .the animals.
1. There are no inhibitions within them.
2. No self-conscious feelings. They are direct and open.
They look into human eyes, sometimes deeply, for they "pick up" emotions, feelings, and thought from humans. They have been given an ESP (Extra-Sensory Perception) ability that is natural in their makeup. They take in ALL of us. That is why a dog will suddenly bite a person who was doing nothing - nothing that could be seen. That person's feelings, emotions, thoughts about animals may not be loving. Or the person's thoughts may be "upset" about something and have subtle "attack" threads in those thoughts.
3. Moreover, they are, in their own "kingdom" observers of strength. Who the alpha or omega dog is in the pack. They respect strength - and attack weakness. They will attack a person who has "fear" feelings toward dogs - and is trying not to show it ! If they are agressive by nature, themselves, they will attack a tentative person - picking up on the caution that person is feeling toward them.
A cat will attack people who dislike cats.
You could say, they "inhale" us and know more about us than we consider.
As we are the dominant species in intellect, they are interested IN US.
And, to be able to share the emotion and feeling of love that comes from us to them - makes their tails wag. For cats, it makes them purr and rub against our legs with affection.
How do they know what our love feels like? Their ESP brings the feeling we feel right into them and they experience what we feel. Sort of like "osmosis!"

Actually dogs were made in Gods image, cats were made by the devil and they try to fool humans into thinking they are Gods also.
And some human found the dog bible and translated it. This explains why it came out God made man in his own image. The translator had a poor command of dog speech and so he got it wrong. To cover up his mistake he even wrote God backwards to get Dog.
What a loser he was.
Of course after that people got rich by pretending the bible was true and they destroyed all the original copies written in paw prints.

and what gives a human the ability to look around using the two eyes? Why not hand, or other part in human body? simple answer. Believe in your creator, not a Darwin theory.

What concept?? Doesnt every living creature have an instinct to survive? And what better way than to look your potential enemy right in the eye??? In fact, looking at a violent/mean dog directly in the eye is an invitation for it to rip you to shreds...

interesting q..........I think their eyes are good compared to an ant, for example, or a snake......where they use alot of other senses to observe their environment. So it makes sense that since that part of their makeup works good...they would use it. Spiritually I think that they are a special part of this world and the ability to do that is therefore not taken from them.

i never underestimate that our animals are special.. that they have a consciousness and an ability to understand
not through words but through feeling .. and as they say .. the eyes are the windows of the soul
I'm sure they see more than we do :o)

This really is not a spiritual question because animals do not possess souls like humans do!

It is the same thing that gives us the ability. We're all mammals and have similar attributes.
