Don't have sex until he does what you say. It's too risky, unless you have a death wish.

He may have only slept with 2 people, but how many did they sleep with before him? Asking him to get tested is a great idea. It helps ensure that the two of you are safe. Condoms are always a good idea though.

Yes, he's being niave. But even with the testing, be aware that some diseases don't show up until months after...so if he had a different partner in the recent past, he will need to be tested for HIV, for instance, later down the road. Also, you both are taking the chance that you can completely trust the other not to cheat! Good luck.

You did not state how long you have been together or how long his last two physically intimate relationships have been.... I agree that it is a safety precaution to get tested no matter how many people someone was intimate with, but I can see how he may have been offended if the two physically intimate relationships he has had were with two very special women who broke his heart. He may still have the "she-could-do-no-wrong" mentality of his two former girlfriends.

It's a good idea for both of you to get tested. Everyone should be tested when they start a new relationship. There are way too many std's out there. Better to be safe than sorry!!!

And i think he is right, you are nuts. Unless you want to get an STD or get pregnant you should use a condom everytime.

Well put it this way tell him what if one of you did have something you would not know unless you got checked out. Tell him that if you did catch something from him or he caught something from you there probaly will be a big argument between you two.

He is naive...maybe you can teach him something about the human body and it's ability to take on bacteria.

You are so right, I don't blame you and he should understand that with 2 people ahead of you he can't be sure how many each of them had sex with and you will be sleeping with all them. He needs to understand that.

Maybe you both should get tested if you are worried, and wear condoms.
