I mean, why then are some babies born autistic? siamese twins? missing limbs? blind? deaf? etc? I just don't understand that. Furthermore, why do babies die from child beatings? stupid accidents? pedophiles? etc? I don't think I could have praise for someone like that.

Y'all are missing it here. Why punish the new life? The babies were not born having already sinned. So God says "The parents sinned, so I'll deform the kid. That'll teach them!" Also are you saying that if a mother has a deformed child that she is a sinner? It is all the parents fault? Should we prosecute them?

Why then, if it is the devil, does he just affect a few and not all?

Thanks John L and others like him for that truely Christian reply.

Sorry folks, but I want no part of any religion that has a God that mames and kills innocent lives or at least, allows it to happen.

The thing you have to understand is God doesn't mean to torure babies and have them killed. Why would He destroy something He made. God gives us only what we can take at one time. About the pedofiles and such, God doesn't make those people commit crimes like that. Because of His gift of free will, He technically cannot control us, or keep us from commiting terrible crimes like that. Remember: the will of God wil not take us where the grace of God cannot protect us.

When God first created man and woman, he gave them free will to obey him or not. They disobeyed and thereby sin was born into the world. God doesn't "pick on" anyone. However, the choices humans have made down through the ages has made for a very imperfect world and many, many problems, sins, and sickness. Babies die from beatings because their parent(s) sinned and beat them. Pedophiles made the decision to abuse children; it's part of having free will and pedophiles will have to stand before God on judgement day and explain why they sinned in this way. People have accidents (stupid or not) because they are human and make poor choices ie: driving drunk; carelessness (failing to stop at a stop sign and hitting a vehicle; working around dangerous machinery when too doped up to be careful; leaving a little child alone to go party; etc). Don't blame God for the problems people bring on themselves. We had the choice to obey or not. We made the wrong choice. For every action there's a reaction. For every choice there's a consequence. God is sinless; people are not.

GOD ALMIGHTY Created the EARTH and the Star System.
GOD gave Mankind, through Adam, Complete Authority to Rule and Reign over it.
Adam turned around, Committed High Treason and Opened the Door for satan and his Angel's to gain Authority over the Creation. When Adam did this, satan, his Angel's, Sin, Curse Evil and Wickedness entered the Creation.
When Adam changed God's(ate of the Tree), he Effectively Kicked GOD ALMIGHTY out of the Creation. GOD work's from the Outside in now, mostly through Prayers.
When the Contract with Mankind is up, JESUS (GOD) can come back Full-Force and take over.
Human Being's are O.K. until GOD send's them down here to be Born on the EARTH. Some Human Being's get Messed-Up when they are Born because of the Devil's Reign on the EARTH. The Devil can mess up DNA among other thing's.
Hope this helps.

Because the "GOD" of the book of Genesis is an egomaniac with an inferiority complex. Don't believe this??

"GOD" claims to have created everything and to have done so perfectly.

This means that "GOD" created Satan perfectly for the express purpose of torturing humanity. Then "GOD" demands that people praise him and be happy in spite of all the pain and suffering.

This means that Gays/Lesbians are exactly what "GOD" wants them to be but then he demands that they not act upon the desires and attractions he created them with.

"GOD" supposedly demands that humans practice lifelong monogamy with a person of the opposite sex and still thought Lot was a righteous man even though Lot had a concubine?

"GOD" supposedly says fathers shouldn't have sex with their daughters but "GOD" thought it was a great idea for Lot to impregnate both of his daughters and then promised both of them that their sons would be the founders of great nations and rule the world??

Perhaps "GOD" was right about this last one since there is very little right now that happens in the world that isn't controlled in at least some small part by the continuing battle between the offspring of the union between Lot and his daughters. The whole world is on egg shells over the conflict in the middle east.

This must have been "GOD's" ultimate joke on humanity.

God does so much more for babies than what your seeing, are you saying you see more of what's going on than God.
Before a baby is born, it's a thought of God, so there's a reason for it being that way, you ever thought it was the mothers fault, doing whatever kind of drugs.
What about tens of thousands or millions of babies that we, the government murder and send them murder abortion babies mailed G.O.D. back to God .......WHY should He send good babies when the government only would kill it, and if a woman don't want it, give God's baby to someone that would care for it.
God is the creator, BUT, we are made in his image, were grown adults, or do you want God to baby sits us in all we should be doing to make this a better world, instead we act like little children, dumb wars, bomb, planes, killing each others, let blame it all on God......... I think not.... STOP THE BLAMING, STOP KILLING GOD'S THOUGHTS, if we didn't kill some of His thoughts, perhaps that would of solved many of out problems, open your mind and think about it.

If you truly understood the law of Karma then you would not be asking this question. God created us. It is man's ignorance of his Oneness with God that causes man to make ignorant choices thinking that he will not be affected by his choices. The law of Karma is that whatever we put out comes right back to us. We are required to carry out the karmic debts in this physical body. If we do not finish paying off the karmic debts in this one life, so when we are born again in the next life in a physical body, we will have to suffer the consequences of the past karmic debt to pay it off.

The purpose of experiencing the consequences of our actions is to teach us that we all truly are One, that we are truly not separate. To learn who we truly are, to learn from our actions, the fruits of it that is. How can the soul ever grow and progress if it does not learn what it feels like to love or hurt another? A soul will make the choices of how to pay the karmic debt before taking a birth. There is truly no death. The body did not exist before we were born, and nor will it exist after we die, but it is our soul that is eternal and immortal.

If you study spirituality in depth in many religions and philosophies, then you would understand much more clearly what God's role is in all this. It is great that you have great compassion for others who are suffering. No one deserves it regardles of our karma.

If someone poured hot oil on someone, how can that person ever become compassionate if that person never knew what it felt like to experience it? Sometimes it takes the hard cold reality to really shake someone into realizing the truth. I've been deaf all my life. I look at it as what has deafness taught me. It's taught me a lot of strengths. Besides that, I am very careful and more conscious that I act, speak and behave out of love and in return, I experience so much love in my life. I've not suffered rarely in this life. It did not happen on its own. It arised from hard work changing within to be the best possible human being for many lives.

If everyone was born already perfect in all ways..then there would be nothing for people to learn about self control. God doesn't make robots. He makes thinking people ( mostly ) . We have to have things to think about and learn about ourselves and others. We have to have built in weaknesses ( some might be alcoholics..some might be autistic ..some might be physically handicapped ..some might be gamblers .. some might be attracted to having sex with people or animals they should never even think of in that way ) to help us understand why being good to one another is good for us and why hating someone for no reason at all is totally stupid and useless.

You might not understand it yet..but if you believe in right from wrong..then you already to some measure believe in God. So after that ..it is up to us all to learn why. Reach for understanding rather than being afraid to find out why. Go further. Live.

Why do you people never stop to consider, that this is the devils's work and not God's. God gives the devil so much freedom in this world. If you don't believe it, just read some of these moronic statements on this site. If God desired, he could crash every anti-christ computer on this site, but he doesn't because the devil has his work tempting us and keeping us all at each other's throats. And he is good at it, isn't he?

First, get a life. You are a non believer and so no answer would statisfy someone like you. Don't be an idiot and grow up, you look pretty old, but your mentality is about that of a teenager revolting against their parents. I feel sorry for you and hope that you find a wonderful cult of satanists to help you with your deep seated problems. May Gop be with you..........

We are sent to this earth to receive a body...many of us continue to lead normal, healthy lives...to be tested and to strive to become more Christlike. Others, like the ones you are speaking of have different missions in life. These children are born the way they are but are perfect in God's eyes. The ones he takes home early on have completed their mission on this Earth and it is simply time for them to go.
