Had a Route Canel weeks ago and I am sick?

I had a Route Canel done weeks ago and every since then I have been really sick, vomiting. I have not had the Crown put on yet because I have been so sick. My jaw started hurting today and I am woundering if all this is because of the Route Canel?

tell you dr about it did he put you on meds for it maybe it is a reaction to the meds and not the actual root canal but whether i am right or wrong doesnt matter you need to call the dentist and let them know asap a lot of the time when you get a root canal you are sore in your mouth for a few days but most dentists prescribe a pain medicine and an antibiotic to me it sounds like that is what is getting you sick well if you are not on any of it something doesnt sound right get it looked at

Being really sick and vomitting does not happen from a root canal. If there was a canal missed or not cleaned out enough then this could cause an abcess ( infection), but that would just make your tooth very sore not vomitting. You could have had a reaction to the pain meds or antibiotic if that was given to you. I would get in to see the dentist who performed it or atleast call and inform him what is going on.

Go to the biggest ER in your area. Have them rule out allergy to the medication, unrelated infection, and any infection from the root canal. That way you will have answers to your question a lot faster.

I argee with TJO5656 and blackfoot. Maybe it's the meds. Call your dentist.

Do not overlook the possibility that there may be something going on totally unrelated to your root canal treatment.
