toughguy ~
Although I was a huge Sanchez fan, my uncle is a cut-man and I won the Junior National Tournament so he invited me down to Mexico where I met Sanchez and got to spar three rounds with him, I know he was taking it easy on me, being more of a teacher than an actual sparring partner, I remember him having the smallest hands, anyways.Being a Sanchez fan doesn't mean I'm not a realist, Willie would out work Salvador for a unanimous decision, I think it would be a complete blood bath though. Willie was slick and a much better boxer than history has given him credit for. Salvador would swell Peps face up something awful, but Pep would get on his bike and dance to a victory. Thanks toughguy for a great match up.

Willie Pep, for the only reason is we never saw Sanchez in his prime. Before his accident he had great fights with Cowdell and Nelson and was starting to have a dynasty like Morales and Bareerra. Pep to win on the evidence.

I reluctantly got to go with Sanchez a great boxer like Pep. Sanchez was able to counter punch with power. If Saddler could beat Pep three times, I think Sanchez could beat him. Sanchez a late round TKO or a split decision win. Great match up toughguy!

The thing is we never saw Salvador in his prime he passed away so young, but even at 23 Salvador would have boxed brawled manuevered and landed that devestating over hand right, and would have knocked him out late, probably broken his jaw, just like Azumah nelson
