no, if it were true both my firend and my hubby would have their heads covered in gray hair. It is not correct at all.. BUT the hair may grow back which is what happens to my hubby, even when it is pulled out by the roots, it always comes back!

The fact that it's an old wives tale and not a new scientific discovery, i highly doubt that anyone cared enough to find out but if you ask me(which you did) no i don't think it's true.

Nope pulled out many white hairs and they have not increased at all. The hair follicle does not change because a hair is pulled out.

Nah, I've read its not true. A white hair is a white hair and when you pull it out, another white hair grows in replacement but never many more.

Actually I think that repeated plucking of hair can kill the root, so that eventually you will pull out a hair and it will stay gone.

no lol, that isn't true, i can't say i have had experience, But when i was younger my mum used 2 pull her grey hairs out, And they used to stay like that,!!
