The financial aid office at all colleges are required by federal government guidelines to verify at random the information on your FAFSA. By that I mean that your file could be chosen to verify the information you have given on your FAFSA by providing tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, etc. to verify whether or not you are "telling the truth".

When I complete the FAFSA I dont say I have money in my saving's account. However, as far as income goes, the Department of Education can find out how much you earned for the previous year. So, I suggest you be truthful about income. If you are looking for ways to increase your financial aid, apply for scholarships. I apply for ten scholarships a year and usually I receive at least six or seven. If you are interested I can email you a list of scholarships!

Hell no!!!! If you were caught that would be fraud. FAFSA is a federal agency therefore it would be a federal offense. Do you want to serve time in a federal prison where parole is not an option?

First of all, if people did that, why would they bare their soul to you? You must be desperate for questions.
