They cannot be compared to one another. They each have different mission profiles.

er... they ARE both jets... :-D

I think the F117 is better, because i once had a simulation videogame that taught you how to fly and fight using this rather idiosyncratic (but high on personality) aircraft... sneaking in behind enemy lines at 250 knots and 150 feet altitude, invisible to radar so long as you approached each dish in the correct manner, flitting through the contours of mountains and foothills, taking out radar and missile stations, oil fields, bridges, battleships, storage depots, reconaissance and strategic link planes, photographing random stuff, avoiding dogfights (or staging "heroic" escape attempts when it got hairy) with enemy f16s filling the sky, landing back on the deck of an aircraft carrier, etc... ah thems the days.

But I never saw a B2 simulator. I think it would probably be very boring.... Fly to the place at mach 3 and 50,000ft, drop a load of automatically laser guided bombs, turn around.

Each has its own merits and are designed built to suit its purpose, so you cannot compare the 2. The F117 is a stealth fighter, designed for pin-point targeting. It cannot carry much weapon due to its small size.

The B2 is a stealth bomber, designed to carry plenty of bombs for an area target. It can penetrate like the F117.

Both are not supersonic though, using stealth for survival.

Neither is a Jet
B2 is a Bomber
and the F117a is a stealth fighter

f117a is more manuverable than the b2 but has bombing capabilities
the B2 is just a bomber

f117a

Neither . Each is suited to its mission quite well. The F-117 is perfect for lone targeted high priority missions and the B-2 brings the firepower to bear when larger or area targets are located deep inside enemy air defense nets. If anything, they complement each other.
