I'm not really sure if I should or if I should wait til I'm about thirteen or fourteen.

No you are not. You need to wait until you are at least 16, if not older. There is no reason at all to get involved with someone at 14. You are still in school, you should be concentrating on graduating and things like that.
You have your whole life to date. It WILL happen, don't rush it. People that usually start dating early have sex early and they don't think everything through. There are consequences to haveing a relationship, sex, etc. Learn about it all before you try to jump into it.
I was EXTREMELY mature for my age and I didn't date until I was 21. Figure out your life goals first then worry about finding a guy/girl friend

I don't think a 12 y/o is old enough to date, even if the kid is mature. At 12 you are still young and even though you think you understand it all, you are naive and don't. I'd wait until at least 14 or 15 (freshman year is a good time).

12 is too young wait until you are in high school or around 16. You can't even go to a PG-13 movie yet and aren't even an official teenager. 12 is WAY too young - save that mushy dating stuff for later. For now enjoy your age as it is and stick with only have guys as friends. There is plenty of time for romance, dating, and making out in highschool and college.

i'm sure that you think you are mature but it is a decision both you and your parents need to make together. maybe at 12 you should go out with a group of friends both male and female. it's more comfortable and safer. also don't a quick note don't put your age on the internet for the peadophiles.

I would have to say no. You may think your mature enough but your really not. Ask your parents and see what they think a good age to date is. Trust your parents they know what to do.

No and your body isn't even done growing yet. Wait until your at least 14 you will be happy you did. There is to much pressure for young people to date to early in their life. They only get hurt or pregnant or both.

my sisters is 13 teen and is going out with a ten years old boys and my other sister is 10 going out with a 12 year old boy so if you really like this boy the ask him out and if your parents say you can not go out with boys the just go out with him with out telling your parents it might work if this is all you want
