For me it is to make me laugh. If a guy has a great sense of humor that is so hot. But nothing too serious. I mean I literally had a guy joke about being an ex con. I liked him enough though and we talked alot there after he explained he really wasn't. That he was just being silly. But still no prison jokes or racist ones or anything to do with real serious issues. A silly knock knock joke, or something a bit dirty is ok, but nothing that would have someone thinking you were serious.
