I wanna makes me a hot tater surprise like my Uncle Cletus and Aunt Millie used to. But how do I make it? I know I need sum dat sauce and sum dat spice, and I gosh darn no I need dem taters. But what I do then? Anyone can help me? I'd be might obliged.

Unfortunately I don't know Uncle Cletus and Aunt Millie.....but you can search Ore-Ida for the recipe...Lot of recipes using taters....Is their last name Skipper?

Skipper's Tater Tot Casserole
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons frozen Ore-Ida Chopped Onions
- 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon dill seed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash freshly ground pepper
- 1 2-1/2-oz. jar sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Heinz Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 6-1/2 oz. can tuna drained and flaked
- 1 cup loose-pack frozen peas, partially thawed and broken apart
- 2 cups Ore-Ida Tater Tots
In a 8 X 1-1/2-inch round microwave-safe dish combine first 3 ingredients. Cook, covered, on High 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in flour, dill seed, salt and pepper. Drain mushrooms; reserve liquid. Stir reserved liquid, milk and Worcestershire sauce into baking dish. Cook, uncovered, on High 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring after each minute. Stir in tuna, peas and mushrooms. Arrange frozen Tater Tots® on top. Cook, uncovered, on High 11 to 12 minutes or until heated through, giving dish half-turn after 6 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Tater Tot Hot Dish

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 (32 ounce) package tater tots, thawed
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onion rings

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large skillet cook ground beef with onion, salt and pepper; drain and spread into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add tater tots; mix cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup together and pour mixture over dish. Top with onion rings, if using.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
