A cross between an Irish Wolfhound and a Belgian Shepherd would be a mutt, not a recognized breed of dog. Sadly, I'm sure there are some out there because people will breed anything just to see what it looks like.

Some breeds make terrible crosses, I'd include Dobermans, Corgis and Belgium Shepherds in that list. Dpberman and Belgium Shepherd crosses often turn out a bit hyper or nervous.
Irish wolfhounds tend to make good crosses, so you have a bit of a mix there. I'd avoid this cross to be on the safe side.

Did you mean a Belgian Shepherd? I believe the more common crossbreeding occurs between the Irish Wolfhound and the Belgian Rottie. Pet stores and even the local library have excellent books on dog breeds. Anyway that should create a really cool looking dog.

If it's a cross between two breeds, it is not a "new breed", it's a mutt, mixed breed, mongrel whatever you want to call it.
Or is my Bloodhound/Rhodesian Ridgeback mutt now some new special breed of Ridgehound? Cuz I got him for $50 at the pound.

i have heard of this cross but never seen one. I expect it wouldbe large and lovable with a high intelligence. What lovely breeds to mix. They are both so nice!

No, but then again...I live in an area that really doesn't deal with these breeds. Sorry! Sounds like an interesting mix...
