jesus has missed his opportunity. If the death of six million jews 60 odd years ago - coundn't coax him out of heaven -nothing will.

If jesus ever does return the christers will kill him. They will not be able to stand someone claiming to be jesus - even if he is jesus.

in the same way jesus was not what the jews expected 2000 years ago - the next incarnation of jesus will not fit the christers preconceived ideas about how he should act - he will be labeled the anti-christ and be once again murdered by his own people

Not the Jehovah's witnesses, according to them he came in 1914. Which is why the world is such a wonderful place today, natch!

Okay, I was going to leave it at that and go to bed, but I've just read some of the comments above, and had to say a bit more.

What exactly is he waiting for? Think about the Holocaust, think of the millions going to their deaths with his name on their lips - don't you think that would have been a good time to come? Is he waiting for something worse to happen?
Read the New Testament critically. All the messianic stuff had a local and contemporary context. His followers clearly expected him to return within their lifetime and kick the crap out of the Roman empire. Why are you still waiting???

Another good question.

You say if Christians ...etc.
Better said.
With Christians waiting for the Second Coming?
Looks a lot better with the upper case letters in the rights places now does it not.

When you sit down each night and thank God for your blessings, try to humble yourself and ask Him to allow you to have wisdom and understanding of His Word through Jesus Christ the Lord.

Then stand back cause here comes the truth you are lacking when you open His Word to read.

His timetables for His World are His alone. Its almost time to send in His Son. Be patience and learn from the Word.><>

If you understand God as being Holy than u understand that he is perfect in every way including his timing. He will come precisely when he is supposed to. Remember the things that are going on right now are the beginning of birth pains and Jesus said do not fret, these things must come to pass.

Sorry, I don't think He will come until everyone who needs to be born is born. You might have 15 or 20 or 25 years to go, at least.

No one's waiting. Jesus said not to wait. Not to concern ourselves with it. He said we'd never see it coming. The only sign we might notice is a beast where a beast ought not be. Other than that He said war, famine, disease, and natural disasters are just a part of everyday history - not to be alarmed about.

God's timing is not ours. God's wisdom seems like foolishness to the world. With God a thousand years are as a day and a day is as a thousand years. God wants as many people to believe in Him as possible. So we still wait.

God helps those who help themselves. We did nothing to deserve His first coming. But He came to save us from our sins, and He will always love us. All we have to do is turn to Him. The Good Shepherd guides the flock.

Have we listened to His message? Have we tried to follow? Have we tried to be Christ-like to be closer to God. Do we help each other? All fall shrot of these things. It is up to each to find their way.

He IS coming again, and it's not going to be as far off as people think, and it's not going to be like the first time.

We have had our warnings, all will answer before Christ for what they have done on Earth.
