I think you will be okay. When you were pregnant you probably didn't lose any hair at all, and now it's making up for it. You won't go bald, hair has a life-span, it is falling out because it's time to get replaced with the new hair, but you'll still retain enough hair that your hair won't get short or all fall off. That's why some people can grow their hair longer when they are pregnant than they are able to otherwise, the hair's life-cycle is temporarily halted.

Are you noticing bald patches? If so, it may be a form of alopecia related to a post natal condition. If not then rest assured it is perfectly normal, as your hair goes really thick, and some women are really impressed with their hair, during pregnancy.
Go to the hairdresser (who will be able to advise you) and get a whole new style. Also, it will be practical, too. Long hair isn't usually a good idea, as babies begin to pull long hair.

I don't think you'll go bald :) I lost a lot after my second child was born... Once your hormones stop freakin' out it will get better, I promise. That's the only thing that helps- a little patience :) Congrats, by the way...

You wont go bald and it starts growing back after a while. Sometimes people wash their hair too much, don't wash it everyday do it every other day, and use a gentle shampoo.

This happened to me with both kids. Relax, it's totally normal, and it will stop eventually. It is very freaky, though, isn't it?
I always noticed it after showering, I'd brush my hair and be able to grab a handful from around my neck.

Geesh...that must be really frustrating! Have you tried taking your prenatal vitamins again? I know they can do wonders as far as strenghthening hair and nails. Also, vitamin E is good for that.
Good luck. I hope you find a solution soon!
