Seems as though he is playing hard to get. He wants to ignore you mentally, yet physically he can't. The next time he pulls a stunt like that casually say " Nice flab". while smiling. Let him know you were joking ( serious?). He may also be one of those guys who knows they're gorgeous and flaunts it, and doesn't realize they're doing it. Either way, he's comfortable enough around you to do it.
I'll bet he likes you and has a secret crush.

It could be one of two things in my opinion. Either he doesn't like you or more likely he really likes you but is having a hard time breaking the ice. You may find out if you will make the first move.
