For burning fat fast, I'd say eat right and exercise, something like jogging as opposed to weights. Weights would just build muscle, and situps would tone muscle but wouldnt really burn fat. Its the longer time, enduring stuff like jogging and rowing that'll burn that fat.

To burn fat you need to increase your cardiovascular exercises eg running, cross trainer, swimming, rowing, etc.
Once you have reduced your bodyfat you then concentrate on exercises such as sit ups to tone up the muscles. Pilates is also good for toning up the core muscles.
Don't forget to eat a sensible low fat diet and cut down on alcohol which is very high in calories.
Unfortunately there is no overnight remedy you just have to exercise and eat sensibly.

Do loads of sit ups every day, eat low fat lean meals and lots of fruit and veg. Take a herb called cat's claw. Add Parsley,sage,rosemary and thyme to all of your cooking - cut your salt intake and drink plenty of water!!!! Good luck!! Hope this works for you!!!

you can't spot target fat zones....combine weights with cardio and sensible eating.
there's no quick fix, it's calories in vs. calories out.
I've lost 60lbs in 2 years just by going back to basics.
