NEVER, EVER feed your dog grapes. Grapes and raisins can cause kidney and renal failure and your dog can die - especially if he/she is a little dog. My client (I'm a dog trainer) almost lost her dog due to the dog getting into some rotton grapes in the garbage. He ended up having to stay at the vet's for five days and the bill was in the thousands!

Dogs shouldn't eat grapes experts aren't sure why, but grapes and raisins can cause potentially lethal renal failure in dogs. As litlle as 1/3-ounce per pound of body weight is enough to create a negative reaction in dogs

my dog loves grapes- it just usually takes her a minute or two of rolling it around to figure out that yes, it is food & yes, you can bite into it. after the first one she's a grape-eating fool! :)

it sounds funny but do NOT feed grapes to a dog- they contain an unknown toxin which can hurt their kidneys. There is a whole list of ordinary food which we eat every day that can hurt our pets. Check out PetEducation.com and print the list!!!

Mine plays with the grape for a while and then when it gets crushed she eats it, usually she doesn't like anything sour and I try not to give her too much human food its bad for them.
