The other girl may have been "Hot", but looks are not all that matters. My guess is he loves you, otherwise, he would had performed for her. Being somewhat empathetic I would say Performance Anxiety was his problem, a totally natural occurrence. Next time let him know your plans in advance.

Probably was nerves and being super anxious. I mean many guys beg to have that fantasy come to life and are all talk about what they would really do. But once in that situation they totally freak out, like I can't believe this is happening. Now oh sh** I have to plz two girls. This is so far from being how it was in the porno, what the heck do I do now? He was probably going through all that in his head, and with that much thinking in the bedroom, the d.i.c.k. is like I'll just chill out til the other head calms down. I've had a few threesomes and the first time I had one, it was pretty intimidating - I managed to perform (luckily) but it was a big overwhelming - the next few times, I embraced it - he was putting too much pressure on himself - next time it won't be the first time

Could be a lot of reasons.
Nerves, like you said, or it could be he didn't really want to go through with it.
People have to remember that fantasies are just that fantasy, and sometimes it is NOT a good thing to always act them out.
