There are not only the ones available to home winemakers, but commercial winemakers have a huge range to choose from, showing their attributes. The yeast firms supply catalogs of them to wineries, and new ones are being developed all the time --latest is said to offer malalactic at the same time as acoholic fermentation.

Plus quite a few winemakers use local naturally occuring yeasts (look for 'wild' or 'natural' yeast fermentation on the back label.
