Are you ready to be converted to a non-believer, and start believing in commonsense, logic and science. Open your hearts to the beauty, safety and happiness that exists in reality, and say no, once and for all to mythical religious cults and beliefs.
By all means believe that the universe may have been created. By all means believe that there may have been a creator. By all means hope that there was a creator. By all means hope that if there was a creator, then that creator is good.
But please, for goodness sake, once and for all, please stop this religious nonsense of making up fantasy imaginary facts like God exists, Jesus exists, my Lord exists, God is good, the Bible is fact, religion is good, and all similar rubbish type hopes and bunkum.
Please stop this religious nonsense once and for all, for the sake of a decent humanity and better world for our children. Just try and open your eyes and heart to reality, it’s not that difficult, and that’s a fact.

I already believe in this way of thinking, but I hope you are able to convince others to convert. Good luck. It will be hard, many of them already have ignorance embedded deep inside them. They will reject your common sense.

I am a believer, and I agree with commonsense, logic and science. My heart is open to the beauty, safety and happiness that exists in reality, and I say no, once and for all to mythical religious cults and beliefs.
I believe that the universe was created. I believe that there is a creator. I have hope in the creator. I hope in the goodness of the creator.
I have stopped the religious nonsense of making up fantasy imaginary facts. I believe only in the facts: there is but one God in three Persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I suggest that you get to know Him by reading His Word, the Holy Bible.

Every man is seeking happiness. In fact, said even the man hanging at the end of his noose sought happiness. (Blaise Pascal)
The only real beauty of life and true, full, lasting, happiness and satisfaction exists in knowing and serving Christ. We were made by God and made to have pleasure, and that pleasure however, is to be found in God. Author and Pastor John Piper has well said, "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him."
"Every good and perfect gift is from above. Coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17.
The only hope for a better world will be when Christ returns and destroys this present sin-tainted one and restores it and makes it new. "But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness." 2 Peter 3:13
Repent and be saved friend.

Unfortunately it's going to be a long time - if ever - before religion goes away.
A lot of people need it to help them with their fear of death, general weakness, lack of ability to choose right from wrong without a promise of reward or punishment. Also, it's an easy way to control people! FEAR!
Some people will never have the nerve to open their eyes - it's pathetic.
Hey, live and let live - if the fundies could just keep to themselves things would be a lot easier!

I say let people believe what they want to believe, whether they're religious or atheist. The problem is when people try to convert others, whether they're trying to convert someone to a religion or away from one...which is what you're implying here. Whatever makes a person happy is what they should stick with and never push their views on to others.

Sounds to me that yours is the closed mind and heart.
And sweetie, I am not a Christian, or belong to any other faith. I am a human being who recognizes that the universe is so absolutely miraculous that it had to be created by something devine and supreme.
Please, for goodness sake (just repeating you) open up your mind and your heart to the POSSIBILITY that there is a God/Allah/Jehova/The Great I AM. It really doesn't matter the name.....it just IS.

I just want you to know that i will pray for you. I'll pray that you open your ears and your heart to the Lord. And i'll pray that you will come to the realization that Jesus Christ gave His life for you. It makes me sad to read your third paragraph there about everything being imaginary. WOW! I pray that you will repent and be saved by our Lord. I wouldn't want you to spend ETERNITY in hell, where nothing but hatred, suffering, and torture goes on. As for your last sentence, i already have opened my eyes and heart to reality. Jesus Christ=Reality

Isn't ones reality what one makes their reality? Maybe you shouldn't come to Religion/Spirituality anymore.
One day you will awaken and see you are not alone, and you never were alone.

When I think of reality, I think of a model of self and world that an individual fashions within their own mind to orient self towards existence and explain existence to self. I think of reality as fashion. I think of actuality as truth. While most people would like for their own reality to be in accord with the actuality of their existence, fashion and truth are not always in agreement. Reality is all experiences of self that determine how things appear to be. Actuality is the way things are. Some think, believe and expect that only their way of ornamenting a model of self and world with myth is actually true and all other ways are false to a lesser or greater degree. I acknowledge that there are an infinite number, diversity and variety of valid possible myths and fantasies based on mystery that could be used to ornament a model of self and world without contradicting finite truth and knowledge based on scientifically reproducible discovery. Every body fashions reality from their own ideology. This is as true for those who follow the teachings of a great authority as it is for those who are independent thinkers. I converge upon an ideology that best produces happiness and good health.
I agree with you about the importance of making a clear distinction between truth and myth. Seed and body are truth, soul and spirit are myth.
An idea is a thought, belief or expectation about self and world. The three types of ideas are truth, lie and myth. I base knowledge of truth on scientifically reproducible discovery. I base ignorance of lies on contradiction of knowledge of truth. I base imagination of myth on the mystery of existence. Lies contradict truths. Myths compliment truths. I use truth and myth to build a model of self and world. I use my model of self and world to orient myself towards existence and explain existence to myself. I write about my model of self and world in my manifesto. I use my truths to produce the most powerful physiological responses of good health possible. I use my myths to produce the most powerful emotional responses of joy, faith and love imaginable. I leave lies to my critics to point out to me so that I may change my model of self and world for the better. I converge upon a model of self and world made up of truth and myth that best satisfies my need and aspiration to achieve and maintain good health and happiness.
