Please, please tell your nephrologist about the headaches. Often they are caused due to fluctuations in your BP during dialysis. They can also be caused by midodrine (since it affects your BP) if it is being used. Dialysis puts stress on your vascular system. There can be so many reasons for the headache. Your doctor should be able to give you medication to treat the headaches and possibly even figure out what is causing them to prevent them totally. Remember, every one is different so what causes your dialysis related headaches might not be the same as what causes someone else's. The doctor can help figure out the cause and, in the meantime, treat the headaches you are getting. Good luck!
