Just go about it cool, and be friends first and see if there ia a real connection and then if there is then you will know, and if there isn't then you will have no regrets. I have a friend that I met online and we are dying to meet, but we will be friends no matter what, and I personally think that getting to know someone like this is a good thing.

That would be really scary, but also remember that you've got homeland advantages. You have people and places that are familiar to you, she's coming all the way from the UK. I have known many people that hooked up with someone that they met on-line, just take it easy. Hang out, and see how it goes from there.

first you need to take the day off, then you meet her,try not to be surprised no matter what. take her to a resturant, have a nice conversation with her and try to get to know each other better than online. after that you go back home or any quit place, you think about it and you pick up your mind about the second step.
be cool, be yourself, dress nice

don't have her come to your work. It sounds like that is what may be adding alot of stress to an already nerve-racking situation. Take the day off and meet her. If it turns out that you don't want to persue a relationship with her, it will be alot easier to end it if you aren't at your job.

my mom met a guy online and when they finally got to meet, they were supposed to meet at a gas station. he called my mom and told her that he was at the gas station waiting for her. so she got ready and when she opened the door, he was standing there with roses. my mom totally freaked. now they are happy and living together. so maybe you could get her some flowers. girls still like that. tell her how happy you are to meet her. ask her on a date.

I'm sure it's going to be odd...just make sure this girl is the real deal...I mean some people say things online that is nowhere close to what they really are...I would just focus on that and everything else will fall in place.

No one knows for sure what will happen. Do the same thing you would do if you were meeting anyone else for the first time. Be yourself and relax.

Don't have too much expectation. You are going to meet a girl and she is known to your from yahoo.
Thats it. and don't have too much imagination for another few days. It is going to be another day for you and nothing will change after you meet her.

Take the day off from work. It isn't such a good idea to advertise to your coworkers what's happening i n your personal life.
Pick her up at the airport and take her to lunch/ dinner and then you can drop her back at the hotel where she is staying. If things go well then you can take it from there...
Good luck!
