Surely..someone from Ohio could tell me how to find a birth record from there...I need a birth record for the year of 1967, is it possible to get it free or with a small fee?

Hey brown eyes,

You can go to the STATE Vital Records on line and request a birth certificate. It will cost you a bit more than your local town. Go to the Town Hall, City Hall, where ever they keep the Vital Records for the area you were born and the fee will be less!

If you know the county in which the person was born you write the county seat give as much info as you can parents name mothers maiden name date of birth etc there more than likely will be a fee and it could be as little as $5 or I have pd up to $20 for a birth cert.
If you have access to a Mormon church they have wonderful archives but be sure to double check information--It is only as accurate as the person who sent it in--good luck

Go to the county court house, If it is the same town or county that the person was born in they can get it for you.
