I'm sure some Christians do that, but I'm also sure most do not. Give some evidence at least to back up your accusation.

A. Christians aren't the ones saying not to judge. That's a quote from the Bible. Christians are just repeating it.

B. The reference talks about not making snap judgments and unfairly/harshly judging others about things we have no way of knowing. There was never any suggestion that people shouldn't use good judgment. The implication is that we will be judged by the same standards we apply to others.

C. Regardless of your beliefs, opinions, etc., there is and always will be such a thing as right and wrong. I'm still able to judge Hitler to be an evil man, and I can still tell that Charles Manson is an extreme case of unacceptable behavior. I suppose your standards would suggest that we should never "judge" such people. Is that true? Is that what you mean by "playing God"?

D. Christians believe that it is good to have discernment...to be able to judge the difference between right and wrong. I will continue to do so, regardless of your inability to distinguish between truth and falsehood. If you don't like it, I'm sorry, but I don't live by your standards, and never will.

Christians are to discern the spirits to see if they come from God. That is a form of judging. Christians are to discern between right & wrong behavior, as the the Holy Spirit confirms in them. Christians need to decide to trust & obey God. That takes discerning what God directs.

Christians can discern if a person is actually saved or not. Have they made Jesus Christ their LORD. Christians aren't here to condemn the world, but to lead them to Jesus Christ to be saved.

Within the church, Some Christians are critical to a fault. It is just immaturity. The critical spirit is judging others critically & person gets mad about it. The person is easily angered about it then. A person with a critical spirit is an angry person.

Are you saying judgmental statements are wrong, because I think you are making one...

Oh shoot, I think I just judged you.
Darn it, now I just judged myself.
OH NO, I can't stop.
AHHH, round and round we go in the circle of judgment.

It seems to me that it is kind of hard for a person not to make a judgment call. And I am also pretty sure that you better look up the definition of judgment in the verse that you are referring to, including the Greek and Hebrew words and meanings that it was derived from. You shouldn't judge people.

Oh shoot, I judged you again.

I think this is kind of hopeless...

We are not to judge other Christians. We are to encourage and uplift each other. But as for the unbelieving world, we are to judge what is right and wrong for us to do, and to stop doing it. I'm not saying I have the right to judge you, I am saying I have to decide, if I think you are doing the wrong thing, it is not, not okay for me to do it. Kind of like, if I have friends that are sleeping around, and I know the Word of God says not to do that, then I can't do it because the Word says it is wrong. That is God's judgment call for me. But because I say it is wrong you think I am judging you.

Christians do bad things too. We are human just like you. The only difference between me and you is that I ask for forgiveness for my sins and I believe that Jesus died for me. We say things are wrong because we see it in the Bible. Wrong for me and wrong for you.

The problem is that everyone judges, it is part of the human condition to judge every situation and all that you encounter. Everyone has opinions, the problem comes in when one feels that their judgement is better then everyone else's and uses that judgement to patronize or condescend others or bully them into believing as they do.

When Jesus said not to judge, lest you be judged, He meant to be careful how you judge. This is clear from the context of the pasage ( Matt 1: 1-6. )

I can give you a example, well God loves everyone no matter what race, religion so forth but yet Christians protest against gays or they say don't judge them for what they believe then bash on your religion. I just gave you two and can think of many more.

Christians are only human and not perfect. You should keep your eyes set on God and not on your fellow human beings. I'm not saying this to be rude. It's just my sincere answer to your question. God bless!

I recall Jesus saying, "Judge not, lest ye be judged". Yet you can go to a website (www.jesus-is-savior.com), and read the many articles on the part of their site, "False Religions". They judge, critique, and condemn every religion that isn't Baptist Christianity. So Christians are largely hypocritical.
