Exactly - homosexuality is found in many species in nature. All of the negative stuff attributed to god in the bible is the result of people projecting their thoughts outward and making god into their own image. Leviticus' anti-gay stuff was due to the jewish tribes wanting to divinely mandate procreative sex in order to increase their numbers (to defend themselves). It made it into Romans (letters from paul to the early christian community in rome) because Paul (Saul of Tarsus) was Jewish who was immersed in the anti-gay culture of his day.

You can not in any way justify that homosexual acts are not sin.God said that man and woman shall be joined together, you made a good point animals do not have souls or the gift of free will, Christ is coming back to judge the living and the dead People, not animals-this animalistic behavior is just that animalistic God made us rulers over beasts,You are sinning in homosexual activity, fact. We are all sinners and need to confess and repent daily,I personally do not see one sin greater than another, the whole theory is to repent turn from your ways and pray for guidance and strength, may God shine upon you.

No, they wouldn't. Since their goal isn't to populate the planet with more penguins, they're not doing anything wrong. They even fostered an egg that another couple couldn't take care of!

i don't think God really worries about whether or not penguins are gay. So I wouldn't worry too much about if the penguins are going to Hell or are sinners.

I think I'm more astonished that scientists are calculating how many animal species have been found to be gay...are the scientists gay? And are the scientists going to hell? Don't we have more problems in life to worry about than whether or not penguins are gay..sheesh...

I read the article but found nowhere that actually talks about the two males penguins having sexual relation with one another. It simply says they share a nest, This is stretching it.

You have got to be kidding.
They weren't born that way.
They were stuck in a pen with each other and decided to get along. Given freedom I am sure they would be "normal" once again.
Where did this theory arise? Are you stuck as this penguin is?

The Bible states that Jesus will judge all of mankind. It says nothing about penguins - gay or straight.

I thought gay was strickly a term used for humans. I further thought hell was described as a place not designed specifically for humans, but those who reject Christ would find themselves there. So what was your question again? And can you please tell us what translation of the Bible you were using?

It's called lack of appropriate breeding availability. They gotta' "do" something (being animals & all), just so happens it's a dude.
In the wild, you'd rarely see this.
