No, I would say he is just at the right age. It seems like kids start to loose their teeth between 4 and 6. My oldest daughter was almost five when her first one came out and my son was 5 1/2. My youngest daughter just turned five and has yet to loose any of hers. Relax and enjoy playing "Tooth Fairy"!

The first baby tooth that came out at our house was even before my kid was 5! They all differ a bit, but 6 is right on track.

I can probably guess that this loose tooth is the front tooth. This is the first tooth to fall out and be replaced by an adult tooth. He's right on schedule.

My son is 6 and he just lost his first tooth. He was kind of scared so it was in his mouth loose for a long time! It finally just fell out.
