Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Period. Deny it if you want and spend eternity in hell. Peace Out

I'm appaulled at all the orgnaized religioins citing Waco.
The fouunder of the Branch Dividian church is "allegedly" said that "god him him he could have 150 wives" and he married a 12 year old and 14 year old.
David Korsech was said to be married to a 14 year old.
Texas DOES NOT ALLOW any 14 year old girl to marry.
I am shocked by Christians who cite Waco.
Waco is a blight on religion.
Hey all you Christians, do Muslims and their Mosques have the RIGHT to keep and bear arms! Do they!
If they don't then neigther do you. If they do, to the victor go the spoils and if they are better shots than you, you lose!
David Koresh (not his real name, he changed it) was a failed guitarist in Los Angeles (boy, who can fail at guitar playing in LA, you have to be pretty pathetic to do that).
A high school drop out.
He's a religious leader!
Then I'm Jesus Chirst, follow me or ROT in the lake of fire!

If you were to take professor Ehrman's quote in context he was not trying to call Jesus a fake. Rather he was noting that Jesus was a person, and the people knew him and his background. He looked like an ordinary person. It was hard for the Jewish leaders of Jesus' day to swallow the claims Jesus made about himself.
Ehrman himself does not claim to be a Christian. He considers himself as agnostic.

your quote and his are not the same thing...his quote has to do with jewish perceptions of Christ, and yours is basically a general, if clumsy, insult of Christ...but you share an important element...you're both incorrect!
Christ-foretold over centuries of jewish prophesies
koresh-no prophesies exist
Christ-fulfilled the prophesies in the old testament
koresh-fulfilled only the expectations of those who had long thought he was a freak
Christ-taught "love your neighbor", and was opposed to resistance to His own arrest, trial, and punishment
koresh-directed a murderous and cowardly ambush of law enforcement officer executing a lawful search warrant
Christ-healed the sick, made the blind see, raised the dead, performed numerous miracles, including feeding multitudes on little more than a few loaves of bread and some fish
koresh-had a harem for his sexual desires, could heal no one, could not even feed his own little flock
Christ-went bravely to death on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins, and rose triumphantly on the third day, victorious over even death
koresh-condemned nearly all of his followers to a grisly fiery death, and is still a pile of ashes drifting in the texas breeze...
any questions?

Rubbish. This claim is not valid because David Koresh lies in a grave.
