whenever i talk 2 my ex's, it's always awkward, which is something I don't want. I still want to be their friends, and I still want to talk to them . But how? What should I do? I don't want to loose their friendships cuz they're something too valuble for me.

Give him time .. sometimes its hard to be around someone that you once dated. But in the mean time, just let him know that you are there as a friend.. anytime

Yeah it's almost always awkward. Don't try to be to close to them, just be polite if you run into them by accident. That's what I do. The problem is, people always say they want to stay friends when they break up because breaking up is painful, but it's also painful to hang around after and re-experience all the old mixed emotions. It's good that you still think of them as valuable, let that be your memories of the good times, but move on. You don't have to shut them out in a mean way, just concentrate on other friends. I hope that helps.

Honestly, break-ups are painful things. Depending on who did the breaking up, there could be a lot of hurt left. I had a girlfriend I broke up with once. While it wasn't a nasty break-up, she still hurt pretty bad. It took us years before we could talk as friends again.

Give it time and let him have his distance, and realize that friendship might not be a possibility right now.

Time heals all wounds. Having said that, how many ex's are we talking about? If you're going through boyfriends pretty fast then that isn't a good thing and may foster resentment...

Maybe put some time in between the phone calls, they say absence makes the heart grown fonder. I don't call my ex very often, but, when I do, we have lots to talk about.

Good luck!!

Well missy. . . if you sleep with all your friends then it will be hard for you to keep any of them as friends. Most girls when dating a guy don't want women hanging around that have screwed their man. Also. . most guys lie about their past and don't want women hanging around that their current girl will find out they banged. Maybe you need to stop being the girl who bangs all her friends and start saving you vergina for someon special. . not every tom dick and hairy that comes along.

They key to getting rid of the awkwardness is how often you talk to them...When your scared of something, the more often you do it, the easier it gets with time. So try talking to them more, the awkwardness will fade over time.

When you talk to them just keep it light and funny. Don't get into any deep discussions or talk about how things were when you were together. When they realize you are keeping a proper distance in your conversations they will be able to relax and talk to you.

Oh, for heavens sakes.......move on!!! Stop putting so much energy into being "friends". Maybe they don't want you as a friend. You don't seem to have very good luck with guys.....perhaps you need to put your effort into improving yourself, sweetie!
