I have heard that if you sleep on a satin pillow it helps. What I do also is just pile my hair on top of my head in a very loose ponytail and then in the morning take a round brush and brush it gently the ends only. Spray with hairspray LIGHTLY.

Coil your hair in a bun on the top of your head and fasten loosely with a scrunchie. The bun will help keep the curls. The scrunchie is better than a rubber band as it will not leave dents in your hair.
