One of the benefits of my faith is that we celebrate a lot. We have festivals all the time. It teaches us to celebrate life more. One of the benefits in the next, I haven't been there yet so I can't really tell you. I do know that I will be judged by my heart and not my mind. I do know that after 70 days of being passed on I will become an Akhu and I will be able to communicate with my loved ones and try to guide them and protect them from things we can't see in the future.

Mine benefits both.
In this life it has given me hope and joy. I have more friends than I ever had before finding faith. I've learned the intense joy that is available by helping others without them even knowing. My volunteering time is more valuable than the time I spend at work making money.
I don't fear the next life like I used to. Death won't stop me. I will go on. Someday I will see Jesus, and thank Him - face to face instead of through prayer.

My faith does benefit my life on this earth, but the greatest blessing is found in the next. Some people then ask me, then why don't you die sooner to get that greater blessing. The answer is simple: I remain on this earth to fulfill God's will for my life and so better my life in eternity. In the words of Paul, "To die is Christ, to live is gain." I could leave right now and be with Him, but I know that he has a call for me which I must fulfill.
I am saved by God's grace, and now that I have been grafted in, I will produce good fruit to make my father glad. Therefore, he will bless me for my good work in the next life, and have more crowns to cast upon Him.
My faith is in Christ.

The benefit of my faith in this life is the assurance that God's promises will be fulfilled. Your faith shall set you free.

I'm a Baha'i. My faith helped me understand that all the principal religions in the world are steps in the evolution of one religion. The existent religions are not contradicting each other at all, they are in fact continuing each other. We believe there is one God, one humankind, and one religion. We believe in unity in diversity. And if you look at the Baha'i communities all over the world you'll notice that unity is very possible, indeed. My religion also taught me that this life it is given to us so we can grow and accumulate qualities. These spiritual qualities will help the evolution of our souls in the next world. Becoming a Baha'i was the best thing that happened in my life.

BOTH! I am striving to achieve eternal life in the lord's kingdom, but my life has improved so much with Christianity. I am more focused on helping others. I use Jesus as a role model and try to pattern my life after His (learning to accept all people and be more loving and compassionate). I love life now - in the past I didn't have a reason to live.

This is a very good question. My answer to it would be both. Without God I wouldn't be as far in this world as I am now, even if I am only 14. Reading my bible and talking to God has helped me deal with many different problems. For example, I was anorexic for about a month, but thanks to God I was able to help myself get better without doctors or counselors. I am also looking forward to my next life in heaven :)
