Run a electric hot wire along the bottom. it smarts but it won't hurt the dog. It will keep the dog safe.

I had a digger and we ran chicken wire, one foot under ground with a hot wire attached to the baseline of the fence, so if they jumped on to the fence or the chicken wire it got her.

She stopped after about a month or so. The best part it actually kept the reason she was barking OUT of her space- the coyote.

A feed store will have the supplies, its easy and fast for the most part. It is the safest thing if you want you puppy to run free in the back yard.

Good luck!

Hang a wire up like a clothes line between two buildings or something that she can't go around.Next, connect a chain to the wire and the other end to her collar. Then all you have to do is keep the area that she runs back and forth on clear so she won't tangle herself.

Or you can connect one end of a chain to a peg and hammer it deep into the ground and chain her to the other end. Then just keep the area around her clear so there'll be no tangling.

Or you can send her to obedience school and teach her that "no" means "no" and climbing fences is a BIG no-no ;)

Try an invisible fence. The cable is buried underground and the collar provides a little shock if the dog tries to cross it. It has worked well for my friend's dog. It makes a beep if the dog gets close to the fence and a small shock if the dog "touches" the fence.

Try putting an electrical line up. They have one that won't hurt animals, it just gives them a lil buzz. Or try putting an electrical coller on the dog. I think they also have a coller that if the dog goes out of an area it'll give it a buzz till it come back to the area ya set for the dog.

string some hot wire up where she can't get close to the fence. that is what I use on my dogs. It works great and is easy to put up. If you go to Lowes they have a kit that you can but and it comes with everything you need..

Put her in a chain link dog pen with a concrete floor and a ceiling on it. (You can just put fencing over the top.)

Build a 12 ft tall wood fence and use rebar (sp?) at the bottom.

Have it pull a rabbit out of a hat next, that would be a perfect encore.
