At 8 weeks your pup is too young to take out on the streets or to the park because his vaccinations aren't complete.
Get him uses to his collar and lead around the house, he won't know how to walk in a straight line yet so be patient and just encourage him to follow you.
Walk him around the house and garden, and if you have a front garden walk him up the path and spend a few minutes letting him listen to the traffic.
Carry him on the bus for a couple of stops and carry him around some streets where there are shops and lots of people to get him used to bustle and noise. Let him see its no big deal and let friendly people say hello to him - but don't put him on the pavement until his vaccines are up to date.
And he's not a 'british bulldog', theres no such breed. He's just a Bulldog, or an English Bulldog.

So long as he's vaccinated it shouldn't be a problem. As a general rule you should walk your dog for 5mins for each month of it's age ie. yours is two months so he should walk for ten minutes at a time. If you over-exercise him it could affect his overall growth. Just take him out in the garden (if you have one), or down the road to the local park. If he's panting and tired, you've over-done it. Good luck and contratulations on owning a top-class breed...I love british bulldogs :)

Don't take him to any public places where other dogs go until he is fully vaccinated!! and then not until at least 1-2 weeks after, get him used to the lead/leash by walking with him around the garden and in the house, Bulldogs shouldn't have much exercise at all until they are around 1 year old and please don't let him go up and down stairs as it can be damaging to bones and bone growth!
Good luck.

Take your puppy now! but not very far. Make sure he/she has had all the vaccinations and they have had a couple of weeks to start working. a 2 month old puppy is deffinately old enough to take for a walk. if he/she gets tired, just pick him/her up and go home.
My dog is 10 months old now. If she was 7-8 months old before we took her for a walk, she would have gone crazy and torn the house down. We started walking her when she was about 2 months old, about a week after her last vaccination.
You dont need to go far but just make sure you give the wee thing some exercise!

Aww...puppies are the best...You can start taking him now....the earlier the better, because you want to get him used to the leash and walking with you. I had mine on the leash the day I got him, at eight weeks old, give or take a day or two. Just don't bring him around where other dogs may has used alot, especially feces, until he has his annual vaccinations. A few of the most harmful diseases are left behind where an infected dog relieves him/herself, which in turn is then picked up by other dogs who may sniff or lick the infected area. His first booster should have him immune to those after 48 hours....Enjoy your lil guy!

If your puppy has had his shots, you can take him for a walk now!
Just go slow an gentle on the lead training - he's a baby. Get him used to wearing a collar first (a light one), and when he is put the leash on him and take him out. Use lots of praise and encouragement, treats if you like and don't be in too big a hurry to try to get him to stay beside you, just let him get used to walking with you.
Have fun!

Assk your vet; certain shots have to be given before the puppy can walk out, as he needs protection against parvo, distemper, heartworm ets., and he can pick these up from the pavement and grass where infected dogs have been; these will kill a small puppy very fast.

You should start taking your puppy for walks now and getting him used to a lead. Although he is not going to be "good" at it. It will help orientate him to a lead and he can learn at an early age not to be afraid of it, or pull. And Please do not pull him along, encourage him, but don't pull. At first it will probably be a slow process as he will want to do a lot of playing and you will have to stop for frequent breaks, but it can and with a little patience should be a fun experience for you and your pet.
