Cravings don't last long if you drink a glass of water and get busy doing something that takes your mind off food. Many times when we feel hungry, we are actually thirsty and should try water first. Don't keep snack foods that are full of empty calories in the house!

Do some artwork, garden, go to the library and check out books you'd never thought of looks at, fix something, volunteer for the needy, go for a walk and look at nature.
