Yes, Catholics follow the Ten Commandments including the one that says, "You shall not commit adultery."

I'm sorry about your situation.

With love and prayers in Christ.

I am not Catholic, but I am Christian.
We read and follow the same bible so, so if you know what the bible says, you know what catholics believe.
Whether a person is married or not it is called adultery when a person is engaged in illicit sex.
Yet I read in the scriptures, All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

catholic people believe all kinds of things

official catholic doctrine teaches that sexual relations outside of marriage is bad period

catholic teaching, like pretty much all religious teaching, says that disloyalty and lying are bad, these are usually involved in "cheating" relationships

Yes we do. Until death do us apart. We marry for life. We cannot divorce, but you can have your marriage annuled, which is a very long process and only about 1 in 100 cases is accepted.
