Dinosaurs lived at the same time as Humans. Haven't you ever watched the documentary that was on TV called "The Flintstones"?

Good question and I can answer that. When God made the earth it wasn't in 6-24 hour- days. Each day was a 1000 years long. Where the hell these fools get the fact that they were millions of years old I CAN'T IMAGINE. The fact is, when the earth was first formed and thick cloud belt hung round the earth and the humidity must have been great, which meant that all vegetation must have been colossal, so the dinosaurs were put here to chew it all down and then God just wiped them out. How he did it we don't know.. If you use a bit of sense, you don't put gigantic animals on earth and then make us tiny humans live with them do you, they had a purpose.we came after and so did the rest of the animals etc.The earth itself maybe a million or so years old but all life on this planet is only 6,000 years old.
I have studied the Bible for 25 years so I think I have leaned something.

God loved the dinosaurs more than he loves humans.

No, the real answer, as any true Christian knows, is that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. It was created in 6 days with man being created during this time. There were no dinosaurs. All the geological and fossil evidence is a trick placed there by Satan to make people doubt the word of God in the Bible.
Cause its either believe that or abandon Christianity altogether...

The quick answer is because Dinosaurs never existed.

The long answer is that before God started making things perfect on the earth it was basically a wasteland and nothing lived here at all, also although nobody but God and Jesus know exactly how old the earth is so we cannot tell how long the earth was around before God started to create things on the earth.

Also as has already been said a day to God is likened to 1000 years here on earth, but he is still in his rest day (if your interested see Genesis 2:2&3 in the bible), as the sixth day ended around 6000 (of our) years ago this suggests that a 'day' to God could be around 7000 years to us.

Sorry to be Pedantic Avondrow. But back in those days we had no watches, clocks etc. I cant see someone sitting there with a big egg timer turning it back and forth. So man used the planets to measure time. More so the moon etc. Try reading up on golden numbers and you shall see how flawed mans estimation of time really is. This was discussed at the temple of Nicaea in 43ad. You shall find that these estimations were wrong regarding time. So as man attempts to grasp at the concept of time you think we can measure it through planets rotating or moons rising? That's our estimate of time. Our little brains try and suss out time and that's what we come up with! I am sure you are wiser than to believe that.

Either the creation story as told in Genesis is literaly true ,in which case you have rumbled the weakness in the plot...OR...... it is meant to be understood as a story . Do you think if we are created beings we could handle how it actually came about . The latest scientific research is calling into question the theory of the big bang being the start of things but merely a collision between another universe and ours. I will settle for Intelligence with a capital I being in the midst of things ,but like you ,I dont know. (you don't know do you...do you?)

if dinosaurs were no threat why did they have such sharp teeth. I think that teaching children that velociraptors played in the garden with the children of adam and eve - is tantamount to child abuse. What if they find themselves in a jurasic park style situation. They will not realise that dinosaurs with sharp teeth are dangerous. there deaths will be on your hands. Stop teaching children this creationist rubbish.

Well, it's obvious when you think about it. Obviously the Dinosaurs were plan A, but they must have done something to hack him off, eating a forbidden apricot or something, so he sent his only begotten meteor to wipe them out. He can be a bit touchy.
We are the backup plan!

BTW, Iain (above) sorry to be pedantic, but a light-year is a measure of distance, not time!

How do you know that's true? Why would he create dinosaurs? You should ask yourself why are we told there was/is a god. We have evience of dinosaurs but no evidence of a god. No offence...just fact.
