nothing is wrong about your age. but i think your mom won't laugh at you but instead she will be concern about the guy you meet. Tell her about him and ask if you can bring him home and let your mom ask question to see if he is good or not. you should always ask adults for help in a relationships because parent is like an animal, if the guy treat you bad, they go after him. so good la to you

Its fine that you are 13, the question is how old is he? It defiantly is the domain of the family to heckle you about dating, especially in the beginning. Is your mom normal? If the worst thing that's gonna happen is her getting a few laughs, let her have fun. In the end you can stop tip-toeing, and after the laughter, you can have closeness with your mom again(assuming you had it to begin with). Not to depress you but that is just a tiny, petty, worry-be happy to have the simple life. One day you'll be wishing you could go back to when life was easy-sorry, I'm sounding really old(I'm only 22).

If you love the guy you should ask him to wait for you to grow up and then you would be more at ease to have a open relationship with him because if he gets caught then he would be in bails of trouble and if he really loves you he would realize you are way too young for that kind of relationship.you are too Young and if you search deeply you will realize that you are.

I think you should tell your mother. I am betting she won't make fun of you (although an occassional sly comment may be made). Instead I'd think she'd be touched that you feel this is something you can talk with her about ( a bonding moment for mother and daughter).

You are a bit young...and you'll have many "boyfriends" down the road so don't worry...your mom won't be surprised to find you like a boy...you're about the age that girls start noticing boys...

Go for it... tell her - honesty is the best policy. Keep your focus...getting through school is priority! (That's a nice way of saying don't get too close too quickly) Guard your heart.
Be Blessed!

well when i was your age, it was hard to admit to my mother that i liked someone, SO, id say that there is a boy that you like and want to know if he can come over, etc, etc, your mom was your age at one time too, so try to remember that
