People will tell you go for it, you have nothing to lose, but think man, you got to do some research first. Watch her during the day and see what kind of stuff she does through the day. Wander the school and wait until you find her schedule. If she talks about boys with her friends listen. See what she wants. After about a week or 2 you should have the necessary information. Go in there, start a conversation, and ask. DO NOT TRY TO BE ALL COOL ABOUT IT! If you're nervous, show it. It helps her to think that you don't try this on just anyone, or you actually really mean it. Good luck dude!

If you don't think you can have a whole conversation with her at once without doing something embarassing, start slowly. Just say hi when you pass her in the hall. If she says hi back, you've broken the ice. Later, you can ask her a question about school work...like, "do you understand this problem?"
You can figure out what question to ask, or what comment to make but just take it slowly. Don't think up a whole script because THAT'S when you'll forget what to say, and freeze up.

I have the same problem, so I feel your pain. The best advice I've found is to keep it simple, like lunch or something, and remember that most girls will take being asked out as a compliment and will be nice about their answer, assuming she isn't shallow. Also remember that fear only lasts a momnt, but regret lasts a lifetime. Good luck.

oh yeah don't tell her that she's hot! I get that a lot from guys and I hate it. If your gonna tell her something like that tell her she's beautiful not hot, fine or sexy!
