I want to get married in oct. of this year and i need to know where to get the marriage licence. please help.

I live in berks county pa and I'm getting married in three weeks. We got our marriage at the court house. You can go to the court house in which ever county you live in. Our liscense was $30.00. Each county has there own set fee. I know bucks county charges $50.00. You can get it in any county you want and use it where ever you want as long as you get married in pa. good luck and congratulation. By the way you both have to be present for the liscense and they have a three day holding period after you apply for it. If either of you were married before you must show proof of divorce . You will also need ID.

Contact your county courthouse and they will give you all of the information you will need to get married at City Hall. The basic information you may have to ask about (in case you get stuck with someone new) is where exactly do you need to go to apply, license requirements, duration of waiting period before you can pick up the license after applying, days the ceremony is performed and total fees required.

Every town has a different name for it but they all have a central place of political power. County seat, town hall, capital building, clerks office, there are many more I am sure. Just go to your central government office or courthouse and they should be able to direct you.

I easily haven't any clue why that is valid for 60 days. We basically waited till 3 weeks previously the marriage to get the license. basically make positive you deliver it to the ceremony so it may get signed and go back it the day after or once you get decrease back out of your honeymoon. it really is stupid, i comprehend.
