About 20 days, When you get to NZ with your american car you need to realize they still drive on the wrong side of the road. Why don't you just sell your car and buy one when you get there. Take it from experience also, when you go to make your first right hand turn make sure you pull out into the far lane. I have been to both Christ Church and Wellington, they have the greatest fish and chips. Please mail me some. Those that come wrapped in newspaper. I don't think anywhere on earth they are any better. It is also very beautiful country and the people are just great. The Bobby's still go around unarmed.

About 6 -> 8 Weeks from Cal to Melbourne .
So I'd assume NZ to be about the same , really depends on the Freight company and Customs .

I have shipped goods to NZ and it generally takes 4 weeks or more depending on the shipping line and the route.

it took my sister a week to get her car from one east coast of American to the West Coast of America so I would say 2 months to NZ
