There are 2 common complaints by women when it comes to toilets and men. First i will explain these complaints, then dissect the problems, and finally, offer up a solution. Let me know what you think.

EXPLAINATION
1. Women complain about guys peeing on the toilet seat. They claim it is the GUYS fault and that he needs to lift the seat before peeing.

2. Women complain that guys don't put the seat down after peeing and they accidently sit in the open bowl. They, once again, claim that it is the GUYS fault and that he needs to remember to put the seat down after peeing.

DISSECTION
1. Guys enter the bathroom, glance down and see an open hole, and pee. They don't look to see if a seat is present.

2. Women enter the bathroom, glance down and see an open hole, and sit. They don't look to see if a seat is present.

Notice how women fail to take responisbilty for their dilemma in the second scenario? How many times do you think guys have accidentaly sat IN the bowl. Not very many on MY end, actually, I can't remember it happening to me EVER. I look before I leap.

SOLUTION
We should all take a vow to, when we are finished, close the LID of the toilet, not just the seat. It would elliminate both problems and it also looks nicer for the seat to be closed in the first place.

What do you guys think? Anyone else have a progressive solution?

your thinking makes sense, but women need to get over it. if they walk into the bathroom and the toilet seat is up, then they need to PUT THE DAMN THING DOWN! it's really not that big a deal. we use it up, you use it down. move on. i think it should also be common sense to look and see that the seat is in fact down before sitting, "looking before you leap" so to speak. women of the world, just adapt already. men have. its your turn.

I have given this problem some thought and (1)Where is the rulebook that that says the seat must be put down anyway?
(2)Why should this be a man problem-women should be less picky over what is a minor problem in the scale of things, let
them put things into perspective and get on with the important things in life.Girls-get a life and dont always blame men, realise that there is no correct way to leave the toilet seat, put the lid down and stop whingeing.

Well the other thing you can also do, sit down and pee just like the women. This also helps control spatter and makes the rim of the bowl and everything around the toilet easier to clean.

I used to put the lid down with the ex wife because she used to complain about me leaving it up all the time. Just did it to make it harder on her to use the toilet like she was trying to "train" me to help her go to the toilet easier.

If a woman says that training you is not the case she is a liar. It is all about control

a good question. But I'm not bothered, if i see a hole I'll pee, and face the consequences, too tired for all this analysis

Very good solution. However, you failed to realize that this is a question and answer forum and not one to express one's opioions and solutions. However your statement is exceptional in that it would all of the problems of male/female relationships.
