ive known this dude ever since seventh grade..
he did find out i used to like him then
he moved to newyork. i live in california...
now i just see him as a friend..
he calls me frequently and says he wants to see me
he wants to meet up and take me somewhere.... i dont know how to tell him that were just friends...

Be honest and tell him you don't have feelings for him anymore and you'd like to be friends. I don't see meeting up and taking you somewhere as a date, though, maybe he just wants to hang out as friends.

well if u never went with him then he should already no. besise, friends could always meet up somewhere to spend time together, after all he haven't seen u in a while. so he probably already knows that u guys are friends

it sounds like you are just that freinds unless you are not telling the whole story. maybe in some small way you mislead him just clarify you are freinds and be done with it.
